Selamat Tahun Baru Cina 2023

Tahun Baru Cina merupakan perayaan terpenting orang Cina bagi menyambut tahun baru dalam kalendar qamari Cina. Kalendar qamari Cina terbahagi kepada kitaran 12 tahun dan dinamakan sempena nama haiwan.

Tahun Baru Cina melambangkan permulaan, titik permulaan dalam nasib dan kehidupan. Sebelum hari tahun baru bermula, sanak saudara yang jauh akan kembali berkumpul. Rumah akan dicuci dan mercun dibakar pada tengah malam bagi menandakan bermulanya tahun baru. Rumah-rumah dihiasi dengan buah limau sebagai simbol murah rezeki, bunga dan pokok limau.

Justeru SBM mengucapkan, “Gong Xi Fa Cai” kepada seluruh warga Malaysia berbangsa cina. Semoga tahun ini menjadi lebih baik buat kita semua.
